I didn’t think too highly of this course originally because everyone always promises the world but under delivers. However, I think Mark from the smart carpet cleaner really does understand this industry because he surprised me from the first module where its content is straight to the issues we have as carpet cleaners and how to solve them. Certainly, like anything, it takes a little work to get good at some of the training, but it really is worth it in the end. Five stars from me.

Being on a super tight budget I knuckled down on one module at the suggestion of Mark from the Smart Carpet Cleaner and it quite literally got my phone ringing the very first day I implemented it. This strategy came from module 9 in the course.

I left the corporate world to start a carpet cleaning business. I thought I made the right choice by investing heavily in high end equipment and a brand-new vehicle but running my own business was a lot harder than I thought. Spending your own money on advertising hurts especially when the returns are not much more than the outlay. At my age I started to question if I made the right decision.

After 14 months of complete struggle, I was told about the smart carpet cleaner by a friend I met at one of the IICRC courses and here’s what happened. I reached out to the founder Mark, and he was incredibly obliging with an understanding ear. He asked me a few questions and recommended 5 of the modules from the smart carpet cleaner to focus on. He strongly said to get started on those in a particular order and not to get distracted by anything but to be 100% dedicated and focused on them for three months.

Here’s my results. After three months I have a thriving carpet cleaning business with a solid number of referrals coming in every week. My phone rings around twenty to thirty times a day with prospects wanting their carpets cleaned and I take my pick of who I choose to work for. My advertising budget went from $2,000 a month to just $300, which I never thought was possible.

The training in the Smart Carpet Cleaner definitely works. The thing I like the most is Mark just gets straight to the point, there are no long videos or boring content to mull over.

I can say with my hand on my heart that this course saved my business.

Yea the course is spot on if you run a carpet cleaning business. I worked on module 15 and came up with what I think is a really good USP, well it gets me in the homes of potentials pretty quick. I then worked on module 14 and created a rock-solid guarantee. I spent a bit of time going over module 2 and made sure I knew it off by heart. Then I used the methods in module 3 to get a dozen really good testimonials and finally I used module 1B to close more quotes into jobs. Finally I focused on module 9 and also added the teachings in module 9 to my van’s signwriting and for the first time ever I receive multiple calls a day just from the signwriting on my van alone.

So, we have two vans and often struggled to keep both vehicles busy. We have been invested in the Smart Carpet Cleaner for a little over a year now and in that time, we have implemented some of the systems Mark teaches in this course and we are now typically booked no less than 3 to 4 weeks in advance. Great course and great teacher and I highly recommend this to grow your carpet cleaning business.

I’ve been in the cleaning game for almost two years and not struggling but not thriving either. Since working on modules 1B, 2, 6, 14 and 9 it’s really helped to bring me a lot more customers. I recently have been working on module 16 too and what Mark talks about in the video in that module has helped me a lot with my companies image. I can see how much of a positive difference it makes when people see how I dress and present myself, especially when quoting in person as I almost always get the job now even if I am not the cheapest.

The course is good and I recommend it to anyone running a carpet cleaning business.
